# Rust On Top

> A desktop HUD for Rust+. Live map, team and world events on one screen, so you spot the heli, cargo or an enemy push the moment it appears.

Rust On Top is a Windows desktop companion app for the survival game Rust (by Facepunch Studios). It connects to your server through the Rust+ protocol and puts your live map, team, server events, and threat intel on one screen, so your squad reacts before the enemy does. It works on any Rust server with Rust+ enabled — no plugins or RCON access required — by pairing in-game exactly like the Rust+ mobile app.

The companion answers commands directly in Rust team chat and calls out oil rigs, Chinooks, and cargo the moment they happen:

- `!craft` — what an item costs in raw materials
- `!recycle` — exactly what you get back from recycling
- `!buy` — find an item across every vending machine
- `!heli` — patrol helicopter location and status
- `!cargo` — cargo ship location and status
